| Parks Concert Staff | Attend one or more parks concerts (end of June/early July) to assist with distribution of programs and brochures |
| Reach Ensembles | Contact local organizations and circulate promotional materials; serve as NJSO ambassadors at community-based REACH performances |
| Subscription Renewals | Staff lobby table at one or more concerts (January through April), accepting subscription renewals before concert and during intermission |
| Restaurant Critics | Visit restaurants (at your own expense) near concert venues and provide advice for restaurant guide; contact proprietor for NJSO patron discount |
| Subscriber Thank-A-Thon | Call first year subscribers to thank for subscribing; no soliciting required; two sessions in early February, held evenings and/or weekends |
| Public Relations Press Assistant | Contact local weekly newspapers to ensure NJSO press releases/photographs are included in listings and features |
| Newsletter Editor/Journalist | Help write, edit and lay out the quarterly volunteer newsletter |
| Gala Auction Special Event | Participate in annual gala auction event supporting the Greater Newark Youth Orchestra; a variety of conunittees need assistance (i.e. reception, ticket sales, auction item solicitation) |
| "Newark On Tour" | Special Event Help plan and execute day-long event of touring a variety of special Newark areas; held end of June; a variety of committees need assistance (i.e. reception, ticket sales, refreshments, interfacing with vendors and suppliers) |
| Children's Holiday Party | Host, decorate hall, provide cookies, assist children in craft projects at Holiday Party held in early December at the NJPAC in Newark |
| Backstage Assistance | Assist guest artists backstage before and during selected concerts |
